Arielle Deem is a rising vocalist, musician, and performer/composer in the LA area. In Spring, 2014 she graduated from the California Institute of the Arts, with a Bachelors in Vocal Performance and Musical Arts, and is an alumna of the Berklee College of Music.
Arielle progressively fuses styles of alternative jazz, R&B, soul and popular song forms while collaboratively expanding and performing her original music with The Arielle Deem Band (current members include Zephyr Avalon, Joshua Linsky, and Robert Perez). From performing in the Monterey Next Generation Music Festival (2010) to soloing with the Davis Madrigals that same year in St. Peter’s Basilica, Arielle has been influenced by a wide range of musical styles while discovering her creative voice in the music industry. In Spring 2014, Arielle founded, co-produced and performed in the first ever CalArts Musician’s Showcase (CalArts Soundstream) at the Troubadour, recognized by industry professionals and founding faculty of the college. In July 2014, the Arielle Deem Band opened for Teebs Band and Kamasi Washington at the Levitt Pavilion Pasadena, and in August 2014 had their first CA Coast Tour, playing in Sacramento, Davis, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, while promoting Arielle’s debut album, No Place Like Now.
The Arielle Deem Band is happy to announce their 2015 residency at Karma Lounge in Los Angeles, CA. Catch them every 2nd and 4th Tuesday night, 9-close, of the new year!
